Versigen's drop-in display units, the designer's choice

To allow catering service designers more flexibility and choice with less hassle, Versigen offers a standard range of matching drop-in display units and accessories. These drop-in units can be fitted easily into new or existing food service counters.

There are four different types of drop-in units: a multi-tier refrigerated display unit; a refrigerated well with gantry; a refrigerated deli display; and a heated deli display. All are delivered ready to drop into shop-fitted service counters, custom-built breakfast bars or buffets made from stainless steel, granite, marble, tiles or corian.

Multi-tier Refrigerated Display

The multi-tier refrigerated display unit has three adjustable, chilled, glass shelves for foods and beverages. A curtain of cold air cascades from the top of the cabinet to maintain temperatures of between 2 to 8 degrees C throughout. There is rear access for easy loading via sliding double glazed doors.

Drop-in Refrigerated Well Unit

The drop-in refrigerated well unit has an illuminated overhead gantry to enhance the display area. This is especially suitable for salad bars or other chilled serving stations. A re-circulating cold air system maintains an even temperature of between 2 to 8 degrees C throughout the refrigerated well.

Drop-in Refrigerated Deli Display Unit

The drop-in refrigerated deli display unit is ideal for the display and assisted service of chilled foods and beverages. Its glass shelf and toughened glass front screen and end panels allow excellent all round viewing. Re-circulating cold air ensures even temperatures of 2 to 8 degrees C.

Drop-in Heated Deli Display

To complete the range Versigen supplies a drop-in heated deli display. This comes complete with toughened glass and built-in Thermo-panel elements. These guarantee evenly-distributed heat over the entire surface so all the food is kept at the chosen temperature, between 75 degrees C and 110 degrees C, depending on the setting. A toughened glass casing over the heated surface ensures the food doesn't dry out and there is rear access for serving.
